Struggling with Weight Loss Despite Diet and Exercise

What do you do when diet and exercise aren't creating weight loss? I had to change my diet a lot for acid reflux and food sensitivities last year, and I started exercising regularly at the beginning of the year. I only lost weight when on a medication (phentermine) but I felt like I was having a low-key heart attack every day so I stopped it. haven't lost a pound since. I feel more energetic and flexible but excess fat hasn't changed. I don't know what to do...

Are you getting enough calories in every day? The only way I was able to lose weight in the past is to calculate my BMR and make sure I was eating enough calories. And if you've been under eating it can take a little bit for your metabolism to kick back into gear. Just a thought 💭 💜

It sounds to me like you may have inflammatory condition that prevents weight loss. Look into Gaudini Clinic and their posts on MCAS. With your food sensitivities and acid issues it sounds like it could be that.
