Struggling with Weight Loss and Health Issues

Hello, I am almost 18 and have been overweight my entire life. I have been on several medications and tired different programs, but it is so hard for me to lose weight. I am prediabetic which scares me and I have a heart condition that isn't getting better and I've already had surgery once about 12 years ago. I graduated from highschool and now work part time about 30 hours a week and it's an office job so I just sit there most of the day. I weigh almost 300 lb and I'm 5'5. I want to change for my health and so I would love any suggestions of what to do. I am a very picky eater and get allergic reactions, so I tend to stick with comfort foods. I feel like if I don't change soon my heart will give up on me and I'm still young so it scares me and I have major anxiety. Any tips please would be so appreciated. thank you for reading this ❤️

I’m 30, 5’2 and 265 lbs. find a health at every size doctor and a nutritionist for extra support, even if it’s just a walk, try a short one every day. That’s what I’m trying.

I’m 21 and I was 330 pounds a few months ago and that number has been climbing since I was 8. After a long long long journey I found out it was my thryroid in combination with my PCOS. I didn’t start losing weight until I have been taking replacement hormones for a while even while on medical diets and even still I’m barely under 300 pounds now but things are finally moving in the way they are supposed to. I have a specific diet that works for me because I’m working around a previous ED that I’m trying not to reignite so if you want more details on it in combination with my disabled friendly workout routine feel feee to dm me. Weight is not a moral failing like society believes it to be. It’s a medical issue.

Therapy, even with gastric bypass. I have a friend for which both have been amazingly successful.

i’ve also been overweight my entire life :( i’m 5’2 and currently weigh about 320 lbs. maybe you could mention qsymia to a doctor and try it out to see if it helps if you haven’t already, i’ve heard promising things about it. i’m in the process of being approved for gastric bypass. if surgery is something you’d consider i’d highly recommend it if you’ve always been resistant to other methods of weight loss
