Struggling with Weight Loss and Anxiety

so I have always struggled with my weight. about a year and a half ago I lost a lot of weight. like 80 pounds. and I'm happy that I lost all this weight but this cycle of not eating is still going on. I won't eat at all usually untill 8 or 9pm. and I want to try and gain some weight back. but the thought of forcing myself to eat more is really anxiety inducing. I'm not sure what's wrong with me.

I used to look at the scale and I liked seeing the decrease in weight because it felt like it validated what I was going through. It was kind of the only proof I had at the time. I can only imagine how easy it is to get into a cycle of using it as a daily meter, no matter what the reason is. I wish we knew why it is scary to stop!!! I know you’ll get there though. I absolutely know :) ❤️

first off, it's great you're happy about achieving that weight loss. that's a monumental milestone and you so deserve to be happy about it. people are resistant to change, and i'm thinking maybe that change for you is getting rid of the habit you had while you were actively losing weight. it's hard to bounce back and drop what's supposed to be a temporary life change. for entirely different reasons, i struggle to get myself to eat and really just take care of myself physically at all. you're not a freak, you're not crazy, and you're still very much worth it no matter what you're going through. i'm sorry i don't have any practical resources i can point you to, but i hope i can at least encourage you that you are valid for what you're struggling with. keep fighting for yourself! you deserve that, too. sending hugs your way ♡
