Hi I am struggling with gaining weight after losing a significant amount after developing long Covid. I also struggle with anxiety. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to gain weight healthily via diet? I am currently trying a high protein/carb diet but keep losing weight. I am female age 22 and lift weights frequently but it never seems to help build muscle or gain weight:(

Talk to your dr. I tried to gain weight all on my own and gave myself an eating disorder. Not all eating disorders are about loosing weight. If all else fails though home made bone broth and Pediasure are my go to tricks.

Fats will help with weight gain. Try making a smoothing with avocados and whole milk (and fruit of choice) to drink every morning, or dessert. For some people drinking the extra calories is a lot easier than eating them. I hope that helps!
