I think as cheesy as it sounds your happiness depends on you. Your the only one who can really change your life. I know for me I have a bad habit of finding happiness in other people but I’m trying to work on that. When I do try to find it on my own I like to read, listen to music, write poetry or just how I’m feeling in general, it’s nice to write it out. The times I feel like life’s not worth living I watch comfort movies or I lay in the sun and listen to music and drown out my thoughts. I hope things get better for you:)

find beauty in the little things, like a ray of sunshine on the first flowers of spring, the lights of the city at night, the inside jokes between you and your friends, etc. I know it’s hard to feel like things will ever change, but when you find the beauty in your life, and find the multiple reasons for you to be here, it will get easier. try thinking about what you want to do in the future. find things to look forward to, like a new netflix show, face mask, personal tub of ice cream, going out with others. take care of your basic needs; think HALT (hungry, angry, lonely, tired). usually these are the reasons we get into a bad mood, so take a moment to think about what will help your current situation. an object at rest stays at rest unless acted on. change isn’t easy, but it’s taking little steps for yourself to feel better. i know you’ve got this, you have so much potential.
