This is a very specific issue I have been having so I dunno if anyone will be able to help but lets try. I am a senior in high school and am taking two ap classes (literature and calculus) and am learning that my study habits suck, or anytime I try to study I just don’t know how to. I need to work on this desperately before I go into a STEM major in a stem specific college, but I am struggling. Visuals work great for me, and I’m trying to use different colors in my notes to help my brain organize what I am doing as I do it (it’s been helping a ton!) but I need to make review sheets for a lot of things—the funny thing is I am bad with details in math. This is funny because I am amazing at details in english and other things, just not when solving equations. I need to pass with higher than a D in my math class to get college credit for concurrent enrollment and I’ve been trying to review the entirety of all of calculus 1 and what we’ve learned in calc 2 thus far but it is full of details and half the time I try to review by writing down the main points but I either get bored or realize I really should prioritize another thing of homework and then I’m too tired to do review sheets. Any advice? Maybe I could find review sheets online to print out and thoroughly look over and make flow diagrams for? I need more to try as a neurodivergent person, and though I’ll be using computers for math work in engineering in my future I just have to get the fundamentals down now! I already decided I will start learning how to calculate math equations with programming now so I can have a new skill and review some math but theres a bit of a programming learning curve right now (Though I am learning Python for a class rn). Sorry if this is a bit messy of a paragraph I was coming up with ideas and thoughts as I types whoops.

I used to tutor calculus and other math classes in undergrad and went to school for computer science and math and trying to get into an engineering career too! Oh and I'm also neurodivergent 😋 I can tutor you over dm if you want!

Forgot to mention : this is an online course for calculus I take and it is quite difficult to get in touch with my teacher and then I’d have to set up a time to meet on a Friday afternoon only over zoom or physically go to the building but usually I can’t do that since it’s at a difficult time. I really wish I could get face to face help, and I don’t know of anyone I’m comfortable talking to that is in calculus to ask help from other than my sister who is an hour and half away in college and hasn’t done it for years.
