Struggling with Spinal Stenosis: No One Takes Me Seriously

I believe all my symptoms stem from my spinal stenosis. I've mentioned this to many doctors but none take me seriously.

      I see an orthopedic surgeon for my spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, herniations, and sciatica. He's wonderful.

      I hope you find answers soon. Ask your family dr for help with pain like physical therapy or chiropractor until you can get into your other dr.

      Thank you for your response. That is who discovered my spinal stenosis! A chiropractor... He told me all my symptoms stem from it. When I brought it up with "medical" doctors they basically dismissed it. I've been switching doctors like crazy and my last one finally gave in and reluctantly referred me to a neurologist. Been on a waiting list for months. And my symptoms are getting worse.šŸ˜„

        @Rebcrom I had a dr with UTAH spine care and he was so bad. Never told me what was wrong, He did an MRI and said he didn't know and the test wasn't clear. He had me go thru painful servical block. It didn't help at all!! It was so painful and I will never do that again. After that I was let go of my job becasue I was out on medical for so long and lost my insurance. I finally got on medicade and went to my family dr. He referred me to a dr with ohisical medicine and rehab. He ordered another MRI because my last one was years ago. I just got the results and have my first apt Friday after a month of waiting. I have a physical therapy friend that is doing tracktion and that helped a little. I have only done it twice.

      I suffer with spinal stenosis as well and the only one who helped me was a chiropractor.
