Struggling with Sleep: Can't Stay Asleep

i don't know exactly how to explain this but. sleep is kinda annoying to me? like i keep waking up in the middle of the night or early morning and i just wanna stay awake. going back to sleep feels like too much work i realized that part of the problem is my pain, cause laying down doing nothing doesn't offer any distractions so i wind up being really uncomfortable. but other than that i'm not sure why i tend to avoid sleeping even though i need so much of it. i'd much rather nap later in the day than try to sleep through the night

I also have chronic pain and fibromyalgia and my pain wakes me up throughout the night. I've found that, for me, listening to either meditation music or blue noise helps me go back to sleep. I nap throughout the day also and listening to those helps then as well.

that's a good idea! i usually listen to my spotify library in general when i'm napping but switching over to something more calm would probably be more helpful lol
