Struggling with Sleep as a New Parent

I have been struggling..my baby is 4 months and I can't sleep within hearing distance of her or I just DONT sleep. has anyone experienced this? When did you feel like you started to feel better? I have slept in the guest room since she was 2 months old while my husband watches her at night.

Talking to your doctor about your sleep could help steer you in the right direction. I recommend seeing a therapist/psychiatrist as well if possible. I zoned out mentally when my daughter was a few months old and it was tough. Asking for help from friends and family made a difference. Also sleeping as much as possible when she was sleeping helped, but I also understand if that’s not an option. Breastfeeding, formula, and bottle feeding in combination (or just formula and bottle alone) can help with sleep if that’s an option. Taking care of yourself overall well you have a moment helps. Wishing you and your family well💕
