I know this isn’t exactly what this app is for but I’ve been really struggling trying to figure out why I don’t like intimacy and stuff like that….like am I asexual or demisexual it’s all just really confusing and frustrating

i personally thought i was asexual for awhile until i met my current partner who taught me i wasn’t. the biggest thing for me was i found i was only able to form a sexual connection with someone i already have a strong emotional connection with. like i was never really turned on by other people because that emotional connection wasn’t there, so i just figured i might’ve been asexual. i still struggle with a lot of sexual things like i don’t get physically turned on much, sometimes i feel disgusting after doing sexual things, just things like that. i understand trying to figure out ur identity can be confusing, but there’s really no rush. there’s no harm in experimenting if you feel up to it. no matter what, asexual, demisexual, gay, straight, bi, pan, e.t.c., they’re all perfectly ok! you’re valid no matter what!
