Struggling with Self-Diagnosis and Seeking Support

how can i give myself more love when I'm worried people aren't going to believe my self diagnosis of me/cfs. I feel the energy being sucked out of me when I walk to the local shop down the road, then for the I crash for several days and feel the reprocussions. it doesn't matter if I have a "good night's sleep" or a "bad night's sleep" because I feel exhausted with both. I'm more worried about having a doctors appointment. maybe affrimation reccomendations or how I can get out of this worry sprial.

I'm afraid I know very little about ME/CFS, but what I do know is that the best way to stop worrying about a doctor's appointment is to schedule one as soon as possible and just get it over with. I'd been dreading having a therapy session with a therapist my doctor recommended for a long time, scared of what she'd be like and scared of how she'd react to me. It got to a point where I was imagining all sorts of bad scenarios in my head, but I finally forced myself into it and voila, everything was all good! The thing about worry, especially worry with anxiety, is that it'll only get worse with time, so the faster it's done and out of the way, the less this will nag at you. If it makes you feel better, bring a friend or a trusted family member with you. They may not be able to come to the back with you, but knowing that somebody is there, and somebody you trust at that, will probably help. But the good news is, you don't need to worry! Everything's going to be alright. Seeing your profile and how similar you are to me, I know you like to unintentionally blow things out of proportion like me. It's a coping mechanism. But nothing bad is going to happen. You've made it this far, haven't you? Sending hugs from Arizona! ❤️
