I've been struggling with reality lately. how does other people's symptoms present themselves. I'm diagnosed schizo-affective.

      I personally got off all meds I have done a lot of research and I have never had a psychotic break or ever experienced psychosis so I found a solution without meds only teas and naturopath remedies and nutrition and it was like I found the answer to my problems and have it Managed. However, I do not recommend this for anyone due to the fact everyone is different and have their own human biology. But don't get me wrong I still experience light hallucinations but not savere. I still struggle with depression or like anxiety attacks on occasion but it's not as savere as it was in the past. Plus I am less irritated and calmer person today. Plus I am a lot more focused than I have ever been in my life. I read the bible which has given me directions how to live life 🧬 in a Positive way. Plus calming my anxiety. Living a moral life style it's hard going to tell you the truth very but it can be done. I pray for everyone that struggles with this issues and I have come to realize how this even happened and why but all I can tell you that part doesn't matter as much as finding the solutions your mental health is much more important and have a family that is very supportive and a best friend about making decisions to enhance your life with a balance. I don't recommend any one doing any recreational drugs or smoking and no alcohol either. My help comes from God and herbal teas and naturopath remedies and nutrition. If I were any of you who struggle please read the 12 principles of life by doctor Peterson. please read all his books as he is an amazing psychologyist. I helped with my sons rehabilitation process working with him for several years of struggling in and out of the hospital and behavioral center on relapsing due to not having the right kind of meds at that time. Now I am taking nutrition and in continuing my master degree in this field to become a dietitian. However I managed my symptoms when I noticed that hallucinations are around like I can't find my keys to my car when they are in front of my face but it's like they disappear and this list goes on all day. So I cry 😢 cuz I am frustrated 🥴. So I pray to God and ask him to help me. Then I take the herb 🌿 called ashawanda. To allow my mind to calm itself down. I listen to good relaxing vibing 🎵🎶 music. I will take a supplement htp mixed with GABA for that week or two and stop it. When I noticed the hallucinations were gone. My mind is focused and I am calm. I take cod liver oil, every day helps with cognitive function health for my memory. I take multiple vitamins in liquid form. I take zinc and b complex daily. I switch my diet from keto to Paleo when I can. Be careful with food now especially shopping at grocery stores. Don't buy fruits or fresh produce with barcodes that start with 4 it's called the dirty dozen due to it being bioengineered food in a lab with lots of chemicals. Try to buy organic foods and grass fed meats. I realized that bill gates owns so much farm land around us to make fake food in all grocery stores like Walmart and Albertsons and target. This will alternate people's neurological chemistry as well including children and adults. Most cereals have Sugar and sucrose and other perspectives if you research each ingredient you will realize where ADHD comes from autism which I have as another son on the spectrum myself. Also where schizophrenia comes from generation of family with poor diets and our government hurting us. But the best way to live is to learn and research everything you eat and what you give your families be careful. I am going to make my own crops and grow my own food for the sake of my mental and physical health. I would suggest the same to you all. Exercise keep yourself in shape and focus on your health in every way. I will tell you this helps you to stay and keep balance even though most of us here get side tracked. But don't let negativity get you down. Keep your head up. Make goals for yourselves. Live the best life you can morally the bible is the greatest gift from Christ. Definitely always have a therapist to talk to that you trust helps us a lot with life's struggles.

      I struggle with reality too. I have to ignore them (voices) which is hard but it passes. I usually try to take bath or treat myself to special treatment like taking care of my skin or maybe listen to calming music which sometimes helps. If nothing else works I really rely on medication to pull me through...

      Mine are like triggered by certain surroundings and things like that. I try my best to navigate through the symptoms presenting themselves without engaging in them, if that makes sense. If I have the thoughts I don't engage with it, I just think of something else.
