This has been one of the hardest things for me… I have come to realize though that it is okay. We are NOT a broken for having struggles like this. Severe anxiety is a hardship that may last your entire life and THATS OKAY. You are not any lesser because of that. Dealing with anxiety and depression on a daily basis does NOT show weakness.. is shows incredible strength. Get help from anywhere you can. Understand triggers and try to learn how to be aware of them. Go to a counselor and talk about how you feel about it. Get on medication if you feel like you need to. PTSD and anxiety are your body trying to keep you alive. You are not broken. You are just extra good at keeping yourself alive. Never forgot how incredible you are. Your struggles and illnesses do NOT define who you are, but they can shape you. Take it a day at a time. Be realistic if your future but don’t dread it. In my experience, I know I will deal with mental illness and physical issues every single day. That’s okay. That’s what I struggle with. There are things I cannot do because of that, but just as some cannot swim a triathlon, I should not be embarrassed. It is better to understand limits rather than push yourself too far and get hurt. Take it day by day!! We are all here for you! You CAN DO IT!!!
