What works to keep track of what u need to get done? I've tried to do lists, notepads, it feels like nothing works because I need to actually remember to look at it and then get the motivation to do anything on my lists

If it’s something really important like a doctors appointment, I ask my fiancé to remind me. It’s very helpful!

i just let it flow honestly, im at the point in ny life where i dont care anymore to fix myself or like try IF trying makes me feel bad. Like i have a Reminders app that audibly alerts me to take my meds at night and supplements in the morning. I will make a list in my notes for errands i need to do (which yah i forget about too). But like i KNOW i will forget things and i dont want to keep lists and lists and organize because i dont like doing that honestly. Props to the ADHDers who do that though because organization does look cool lol!! but yah i mostly rely on myself to stick to a stroct routine SO i dont lose focus on daily things i do. But overall all, i will AWLAYS run back inside the house 85% of the time because i forget something, i will always forget this and that and this and that but thats just the nature of adhd, specially the attention part. its why we are diagnosed ❤️ So instead of doing something we know we dont like (like creating lists and lists) find another way perhaps that you will enjoy or know you can stick to to remember or get things done. -Maybe create a strict routine -Actual Alarms -do what you gotta do right now instead of later -do what you need to do in order of which you feel like doing in a day - do things slowly and step by step, dont do everything in one day. no rush -find someone to rely on to remind you maybe (significant other, parent, alarm) But yeah this is my personal advice that i give out of my own personal experience and what helps me. I hope it helps!! 😊 You got this!!

So really I don’t use notepads either they just don’t appeal to me. I keep a mental note of things I want to accomplish for the day. Usually I have a reward for completing a task but I don’t try to pressure myself. Right now I have to do the dishes but I don’t want to. So I’m going to focus on some other easier tasks then when I finish with those I will do the dishes before I leave my house for the night. You have to give yourself ultimatums
