I can relate to this in a weird way, my son is autistic and has adhd and my husband is also adhd and probably undiagnosed other issues as well, we too are struggling financially and sometimes I feel he puts all the blame on me. I had a mental breakdown 2yrs ago due to all the stress and whatnot. After my stay in the hospital we had to sit down and I had to get him to understand my feelings and thoughts and what he was doing to my self esteem and confidence as a woman and a mother. We aren't perfect and we still struggle the important thing is to make sure you both understand each other and more importantly validate your feelings.

I was with someone who was bipolar but we didn't get a chance to seek help for him. He just had a really angry episode and we broke up and we never got back together bc I had my fill of how angry he could get and how badly he'd treated me.

If you’re starting to feel unsafe in that environment, it may be time to look at new options. If you wish to stay with him, sit him down and explain your feelings. Try using “I feel” and most “I” statements. If you don’t wish to be with him, talk to any family members you trust and work out a plan to leave.
