I feel like my ocd is spiraling recently and I can’t seem to get out of this episode. Any recommendations?

Ask it what it’s trying to get your attention for. Then listen.

Me too. Mine peaks when I have anxiety so I first try to learn why I’m more anxious and when it started. Then I try to redirect the behaviors I do such as skin picking that could hurt me. Remember that it WILL pass. Stressing about having stress only makes it worse. Perhaps repetitive behaviors suggest a need for control or soothing. You need to gather from yourself what you need. There are ways you can then healthily feel more in control or soothed. There are even great suggestions on line and I’m sure people on here have ideas too.

I like to note mentally the triggers that makes my OCD overwhelming and for me that is drinking, I also surround myself around things I value as comfort, I have a “safe” blanket and outfit I wear and stay cozy
