I get sick a lot a night lately. I’ve gotten used to less sleep and waking up between 12- 5am. Anyone else who feels like the a have a double life during the night time? I don’t really tell others about this because it seems like they are all tired for different reasons and probably don’t really care.

I understand how that feels, I feel like I live a double agent life of pretending to be a functional heathy human being and then when I have a flare-up or a bad stomach week I feel so incapable and a burden. I don’t talk about it either really with anyone mostly because I also think they don’t care and it’s probably hard to understand. Plus it means that I have to think about my whole life’s story of how I ended up with UC and that’s traumatic in of itself. But at night in the bathroom is the same person that can run around going to school and work and have a laugh with friends and family. I hope we can figure out a way to combine our seemingly multiple lives into the one person we are 💕
