What do you do when you sit alone in the dark with all the thoughts of what is going wrong in your life runs through your head. I get a headache just thinking about my life.

      I try to avoid that as much as possible lol because if I do then I’ll usually spiral out of control. I try to occupy myself constantly so my thoughts can’t get to that point. If I feel myself start to think like that then I’ll blast my favorite song to think of something else even if just a quick thought. Or you could always have a person to share your thoughts about life with, that way they can reassure you when your thoughts get overwhelming.

      when i do that, i cry. a lot. and then i drink some tea or hot cocoa and i feel a little bit better. and then i curl up on the couch with a blanket and my phone and read wholesome manga to cheer up. and then I close my eyes and think about the things I enjoy and what makes me happy to be alive. and then I feel better. and i go to bed or take a long hot shower or lie down outside on the grass and close my eyes and just listen to nature. indulge + brain break = life doesn’t suck as much

      I think you're normal. People always say they don't want to be alone without distractions because they're afraid to be stuck in their thoughts. I overthink and I used to let my abundant thoughts upset me or give me a headache if I kept thinking about a lot for too long. You have to train yourself to stop thinking about something at a certain point especially if it's a very sensitive topic for you, you stop when you feel you're thinking way too much and just breathe, work on something, or go to sleep.
