Struggling with Mental Health

I think there is something with me. My mom won't take me back to either of the appointments I had and I don't feel like I'm getting better. I just got better at faking it. I'm so scared 😔😔

Can you help? connect today

Have you voiced these feelings to your mom? Coming from someone who used to fake it, it can make it harder to get what you need. It can even be hard to get what you need if you're not faking it when someone just doesn't understand. I was very depressed during one of my years of high school and even when I was actively trying to make it clear I was not okay, I had a teacher say he was sure I was fine and just lazy because I managed to do any of my homework at all. If you haven't had a serious discussion with your mom about how you're feeling, do it. Communication is key with this. If you have talked to her and she doesn't believe you, find someone else who can help you. A doctor, a counselor, even a friend or other relative. Your needs are more important than what she thinks.
