Struggling with Menopause Symptoms

I am under the care of a doctor, I had my heart checked out a year ago when I was in the hospital. I feel out of breath, I'm a server but I can barely keep up with my tables. I am 45 and I'm in perimenapause. I have terrible hot flashes which I know are normal in menopause. I just feel like my body is fighting me and I'm not fighting back very hard. What do you think?

Hopeless... can I ask what your other symptoms were of copd? I also struggle with shortness of breath and a bunch of other symptoms. My doctors suggested asthma but my inhaler doesn't fully help my symptoms. I also don't have a cough so I never really considered copd until I read you message!

Jesus I'm on the same boat and it scares me because often copd is terminal

I used to vape and I thought it was helping me relax but I kept having more hot flashes and shortness of breath. The nicotine raises your heart rate blood pressure and anxiety tbh and once I came to terms with that I didn’t look back. It took about 2 weeks and I noticed how much better I felt and could breathe easier

that makes perfect sense. I guess it's time to get rid of the vape for good! I'm ready to. I thank you all for your advice!!!!❤️

yes I do vape but not heavily. I'm sure that could have something to do with shortness of breath but I've lately cut back on vaping.

Have you been to the doc recently?

yes, less than a month ago. I told her of my shortness of breath and she listened to my heart and didn't make too much of it.
