Struggling with Medication for Depression and Anxiety

after a major depressive episode in December, my psychologist has been trying different concoctions of medications for depression and anxiety. I’ve definitely seen improvement, but there’s still something off. I’m on lexapro, welbutrin, and the newest addition is buspirone. any advice on how to keep trying? I’m not sure any combination will be right

It took me forever to get the right combo, but when I did there was a major difference. Hang in there! Eventually, adding in a really old antidepressant called Nardil was the difference for me. Lithium really helps as well.

If it makes you feel any better, I’ve been on all the ones you listed. Now I’m weaning off buspirone and pristiq, and getting used to depakote, which has already been a journey. I just keep reminding myself that working towards figuring it out is better than just white-knuckling it through life with no help at all.
