Mainly DBT!! It was literally a lifesaver. I learned a lot when I finally became open to learning and could focus. Also: cannabis, exercise, finding coping mechanisms (through DBT), learning to communicate, staying away from negative people & BEING OUTSIDE!! I didn’t realize how much sun makes me feel better.

Trileptal has helped a bit with mood swings. Pristiq has helped with the depression aspect. Lithium helped with the self destructive aspects for a while until I needed to get off of it because of the intense physical fatigue i got. And a lot of therapy.

Even though BPD is a behavioral disorder stemming from trauma most of the time, it has a co-occurring rate with bipolar or ADHD. So in saying that, I have come to realize that if I can take hold of my other MIs, I can then be more productive to work on the behavioral aspects of this disorder like: crisis skills/distress tolerance specifically radical acceptance and dialectical abstinence from DBT. EMDR, Reiki, TMS, medication, and talk therapy in conjuction is my way of helping ME.
