Struggling with Love and Chronic Illness
I will probably never find love, or someone willing to deal with this long term. I don't like the odds and I don't like who I'm becoming because of this disease. I'm not asking for advice I guess, just needed somewhere to dump these feelings. sorry.

I felt the same way for years and finally someone who was a friend all along became my better half. I still have many days a week where I myself feel useless without him and like a burden but I'm also on new antidepressants/pain meds (duloxetine) and I've never felt this positive since my issues began.. so sometimes medication helps. I hope you know you're valued and you deserve to be happy and I hope you feel like you can make others happy too.
