Struggling with Insomnia: Need Medication Suggestions

having a very hard time falling and staying asleep, causing much anxiety...im trying different medications but not having that much success....can anyone suggest meds that have worked for them?

      Have you tried Seroquel? It helps me with anxiety ..it is also used to help people sleep.

      I have/had the same problem. My Dr. put me on Trazadone. It does help. I like it because non addicting, and you don't get that aweful hangover feeling you can get with other stuff. Good luck

      Some people respond well with Melatonin. I was on Tramadol years ago for pain, and it helped me with sleep.

      I sleep like a rock with gabapentin and nortriptyline

        @100Percent_K my sister takes Gabapentin for pain so I have heard of that I will Google the other thank you

          @Loopsy59 it’s used for anxiety in some cases as well, but I also personally use it for pain 🙂

      I have the same issues and unfortunately haven’t found anything to help. I know when I go to bed later which is not very often I sleep better.

          @Loopsy59 I’m at home so if I can lay down for even 15 minutes I’m good. Sometimes I tell my husband I feel like a fainting goat I just can’t do anything just need to lay down.
