Anyone what experience bouts of insomnia? I will be on a totally normal-ish sleep schedule for a couple of weeks, then suddenly I can't sleep at night and will stay in this pattern for sometimes months. I am scared to take sleeping aids because I have a kid and a disabled mom that need me and I am scared that I would sleep through an emergency if I were to take anything. anyone have any helpful advice?

Hydroxyzine is awesome for evening anxiety and helps me relax. You could try sleepy time tea or any soothing caffeine free drink. I think it's about creating a night time routine
@ellinoris thank you. I will try some tea tonight. Any suggestions on a type and brand?
@FreddyFabrix celestial sleepy time tea is really good before bed
