Struggling with IBS/G.I. Problems After Mono/Epstein Barr

In 2021 I got mono/epstein barr and it ruined my gut health and following that my intestinal mobility slowed, i became intolerant to many foods, and everything upset my stomach. Right now i’m on a low FODMAP diet to help the stomach pain but I still cannot go to the bathroom regularly and I don’t want to diet like this forever. Has anyone successfully been able to beat their IBS/G.I. problems? And how??

Have you tried testing for food allergies and what not? Try gluten free, soy free, dairy free, if you haven't already or an antiflammatory diet

I have to take 400mg magnesium glycinate twice a day, and quit keto to stay regular. I also avoid a few specific things that seem to make my ibs-c worse: diet soda, popcorn in high quantities, cruciferous veg, high lactose dairy things like cream and yogurt, mushrooms in high quantities.

Oh and limit NSAIDs, which is difficult with my frequent headaches

My doctor gave me a fiber supplement called Metamucil and my problems got a lot better after that
