Struggling with IBS-C: Seeking Advice and Support

Hey, I need help. I've struggled with IBS-C all my life, but it's gotten to the point where I'm so backed up that I'm having tons of other physical symptoms. For example, vertigo, lots of it. Bloating in all parts of my body and burning in my gut (not stomach or esophagus). Pain in all four abdominal quadrants. Pain, burning, and bloating after every time I eat. Also whatever I drink usually doesn't go all the way down, it just sits there. I've also had problems with my diaphragm since my constipation has somehow gotten worse. I've gotten light-headed every night pretty bad along with all the physical symptoms that won't go away. I've been crying it's so awful. I've never felt this overall physically bad (besides when I have gallbladder attacks). Does anyone relate? I need advice. I go days without bowel movements and when I do go, it's just small pebbles that are hard to pass. Been that way for YEARS. It's just gotten so much worse.

it might be worth it for you to switch to a plant based or GF diet for a little while. when this happened to me i found eating only fruits / veggies for a while, as well as drinking a ton of water and prune juice, really helped me. its horrible to be so backed up, i know that kind of discomfort. if all else fails, you can get a suppository or enema. or go to the ER! chronic constipation is no joke

I put a disolvable laxative in drinks with my meals and take a fiber supplement every night. It's not a miracle cure but it definitely helps reduce the extremes. I also get really severe burning/vertigo/nausea if I eat too much gluten, and found out that i had a gluten intolerance that was flaring up and worsening my existing ibs symptoms. If you haven't already tried cutting out gluten I definitely recommend it.
