I don't have suggestions but I heavily relate. I went from working in a grocery store to never being able to go in due to walking to much. (Between eds and pots) I guess I try not to dwell on the things that I can't do and I try to find new things but it's really frustrating

I can relate - although my dislocations aren't as much of an issue, the other underlying health dysfunctions have become more burdensome. My mom specifically thinks I've been a hypochroniac my whole life, and as more diagnosises are made she just hasn't acknowledged the truth or supported me completely. Its hard when others can't relate, or understand what we deal with.

Yes 100% It sometimes feels like my brain and body are in disagreement. Difficult when mentally I crave activities that gave me energy in the past but now cause harm to my body. Not sure if I have any advice - but I'm trying to find new ways to do things I used to enjoy. So instead of going on a long uphill hike, going to flat short path. Bittersweet but sometimes helps

My symptoms all randomly started last summer (2021) and I also just moved to a new state where I only knew one person. I’ve been trying everything possible. I’ve tried PT, OT, massage therapy, lab work, and lots of meds. I definitely am not doing normal 23 year old things and it’s hard to accept, but I can’t push myself and risk hurting myself and I’m finally understanding that and my friends are too. Just listen to your body and don’t push yourself. I’ve been in so much pain the past year, and winter was absolutely brutal and I couldn’t do anything. But I got a work from home job which allows me to rest when needed. Best of luck!

I totally understand! I am expecting 19 year old and I get 90 year old out of my body.
