I've been struggling with GI issues for the past 5 months seemingly out of nowhere. I was recently diagnosed with ibs but I don't seem to respond to low-fodmap diet, elimination diet, or medications like levsin, prilosec, etc. I'm not sure if I should pursue another diagnosis or if this is truly ibs. I've had constant symptoms, not flare-ups, for 5 months straight of painful bloating in my upper belly, sharp cramps, gas and belching, and many daily bms. I've kept a journal and found no food triggers, everything hurts to eat. I've had blood work, xrays, ultrasound, ct, and colonoscopy/endoscopy which ruled out celiac, diverticulitis, gallstones, pancreatitis, etc and only found stomach inflammation. Does this sound consistent with anyone else's ibs symptoms or should I keep looking for answers? Are there other tests I can ask my GI doctor for?
