has anyone ever been told to help themself by doing something but finds it extremely difficult to do because of their epilepsy. for example (this really happened) - [my brother told me that I needed to start going to a gym because it might help with my epilepsy] I live in the country side, no where near a gym, and I can't drive. I asked him how was I supposed to get there and he just told me the same thing. all anyone does is tell me things but never help me. they never realize the two biggest problems that I can't drive and that no one likes me because I'm a epileptic.

If my body is too exhausted/tired, I'll have a seizure, so I try to avoid morning classes as much as possible. So I went to my DSS and they tell me to "go to sleep earlier," but that's REALLY difficult to do when I'm drowning in course work. And I've missed morning classes by just feeling, §off§, or after having bad reactions to new medications. So it's more insulting when people offer "solutions" to things I've already tried

I’m epileptic too and I can’t drive either which is really difficult being 18, working, and being a full time student in college. I get it. Idk if we’re in the same state, but if I could drive I’d drive you if you wanted to go to the gym.
