So does anyone struggle with disacciotaing? because I am and have for a while now, it's honestly a really big issue, it happens multiple times a day. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips how to ground myself or to keep it from happening. I babysit my 6 month old niece and i dont feel that it's safe, also I lose gaps of time because of it.

Ice cubes in your hands, playing an instrument, talking out loud, stay moving

I struggle with dissociating a lot. What was the most game changing thing for me was getting a service dog. Having her helps slow, if not completely stop the dissociative episode altogether.

That's really awesome, I would love to get a service dog, but I dont know how I would ever afford the cost to get one.

This sounds really basic but box breathing definitely helps me stay grounded
