Really struggling today so nervous about everything and disability isn’t coming through I been waiting for almost a year and I’m scared - if I don’t get it very soon I’ll lose so much and I’m not sure what I do

      Getting on disability shouldn't be this difficult and they need to improve the benefits.

      I'm in the same boat they say I'm capable of work with anxiety bipolar and psa and my ocd is of the wall been inpatient well over 15x they want you to give up this is my fourth try now I'm at an appeal I got a lawyer this time hope it help and people are telling me they getting approved and it's quicker online then in person due to covid

      Tell me about it it took me almost 5 years to get mine the only saving grace was they had to pay me from the day I filled all the way up to the day I was finally approved I live in Maryland I don't know if it would be different if you live in another State I hope this gives you some hope and Good luck if you need to talk about it you can message me

      They literally have made shit hard in us a.. I'm not sure who this perfect worker bee is.. but the healthcare alone is a gravedigger.

        @xoxobrett sigh it’s just so crazy why do we have to go so far as getting a lawyer and paying them as well it feels like a scam almost so many people are saying they needed a lawyer :/

          @LaurElizabeth there are lawyers who work specifically with people trying for problems like this. The only pay they take is a percentage of your first SSDI check (% depends on the lawyer), but you don’t pay anything otherwise, and if you aren’t approved, they don’t cost a cent. Maybe something to look into?

        @Bre19 the whole system is so messed up it is very sad - I wish things were different for someone who is sick and in need of help - we all deserve better

      It took me 2 tries, 3 attorneys and 4 years! But finally it came through, back pay and all! 🙏🏽

      I know this feeling all too well, it felt like an eternity before mine finally came through. It took a second try with a disability lawyer to get everything settled. Hope everything comes around for you soon 🙏
