YES!! It took years and several doctors. My biggest advice is detailed symptom tracking and coming to appointments prepared with questions and specific symptoms/episodes to describe to guide your docs in the right direction.

It’s important to write down the symptoms when you are feeling them and maybe what you were doing so when you go to the doctor you can just explain what’s going on.

Yes and no. Yes because the doctor was saying that my symptoms could be fibromyalgia and I ended up seeing all kinds of doctors to eliminate other conditions.

Yes. You have to find a doctor that will listen and not just brush it off which takes time fighting and patience.

Yes! Getting diagnosed was basically a full time job in the first half of 2021. I even had to drop out of college because school was taking so much of what little energy I had. I had to be so persistent--I was basically calling doctor's offices every day.
