I'm struggling with my depression and it's awful. I need help but I don't know what I need. Living feels like a chore and I'm barely able to function. Any advice on how I can ask for help and how I can help myself?

      Seeing a counselor or therapist would be best if you’re wanting help from an outside source. Otherwise, spend time with people who bring out the best in you, do things that you enjoy/make you happy. Focus on little “wins” you can accomplish rather than looking at E V E R Y T H I N G that you need to/should do. Brush your teeth, take a shower. Baby steps!

      Can you get a therapist? Is that accessible to you? You've done your first step, you're asking for help now that's a huge accomplishment! We can't get better alone, that's a fact so make sure you have a good support system of safe, supportive people. You can find people on here, in support groups (many are free) and on social media platforms.
