I’m not sure what type of depression I have, but it’s been hard. I’m in emotional wreck.

I was just recently diagnosed although Ive known for years how i felt. Its all a process and you have to be ready to make that commitment and take that step. I personally understand with the family and them not being supportive of taking medications or maybe mental health. But at the end of the day you need to do whats best for you and then you will see things will start to get better. There’s no rush you will get that answer when youre ready😌

@Niniluv someday I’ll go to a psychiatrist or something

After many doc appts and therapy sessions I have moderate major depression with suicidal ideations. It took a long time to come to that answer. You got this 💕

my best advice is to just got see a doctor, it’s really not helpful to diagnosis yourself! if you need medicine, they will give it to you, and everything will turn out okay!!

@nalabean i’ve been to the doctor and I even have school psychiatrists and doctors

Also depends on whether you need medication in the first place

@Valentina yeah I’ve talk to people in my school because we have doctors and psychiatrists at my school we also have counselors and they said that I probably would need meds I’ve also told the doctors a little bit and they said that if it gets worse or lasts longer they’re going to put me on meds or something I just haven’t told them everything

Family not being supportive on one hand, your own health on the other..

@Valentina I need new doctors or something. They’re not really good at listening to me.

I do take asma meds sometimes as well. They do not interact

@Valentina i’m just terrified that doctors are gonna judge and I also don’t wanna be addicted to meds either.

At the end of it all it is Your decision! Your life!

@Valentina when I get my own place and I do stuff on my own I would definitely tell a doctor or go to a psychiatrist.

The last time i felt this way i gave in and got meds from my doctor. Those really helped

@Valentina it’s complicated, but my family is not that supportive of me taking meds. I mean they kind of don’t like it that I’m taking meds now for my asthma and other stuff.
