I feel like I'm at my breaking point, I don't want to deal with this pain anymore. I'm 22 years old and can't even dress myself most days. Is this really a life worth living?

I feel the same a lot of the time, and all I can say is to keep trying. I've found medicines (Gabapentin, Duloxetine) and exercises (yin yoga), that make the pain more manageable most days. It's not the life I wanted, but I have a partner and a couple of cats that I love very dearly and that love me and would miss me if I was gone. I get through the really, really rough days for them. Try to find people or pets that can lend you some of that same strength when you are at your lowest ❤️

Having a great support team helps so much . Having people in your corner who are there for you through thick and thin 🙌

Oh I know its hard, but it is not always like that. I have been taking pregabalin and CBD gummies, it is really helping with the pain, Have you tried those? I also do aqua zumba 2 or 3 times a week. I discover that the more I move, the less pain I feel. Its not always easy, but it is possible to have better days! How long have you been diagnosed?

@Fibromyalgia_Mom I have tried CBD and that hasn't helped much for me, I'm going to my doctor soon to see if I can start trying more medications, I just never wanted to have to get on them, but it's been getting worse. I was also planning on asking her about physical therapy or things like that that could help. I was diagnosed at 19y/o in 2019.

@ZeroKyu oh I see! I heard that CBD does not work for everyone. But definitely talking to your doctor about different medicines is a good idea!

I would ask your doctor about alternative medication or for a referal to apply for disability if your pain is very high.

@Machu how does it work to apply for disability?
