Struggling with Burnout and Mental Health

I’m nearing time where I have appointment with my psychiatrist. My counselor wanted me to discuss few things with the psychiatrist. I need to figure out what’s best for my life overall meaning can I handle part time job without being burnt out? I am burnt out with my current job. I wish mental health wasn’t taking a toll, but it is. I am looking into going back to attend group counseling sessions again after two years. Has anyone experienced burnt out from their job that want to walk away but can’t because of financial needs?

Oh my goodness! You poor thing! I'm grateful to work for a company that does fairly well by it's employees and pays well, too. I had to go down to part time because of arthritis in my knees and fibro, but I found a position that works well and is a lot of fun because it's a small department. I really hope your team can help you and get you what you need. 🙏❤️

Oh my God, my heart goes out to you! I stayed at my job for 14 years because I loved the job- but my boss was a horrible passive aggressive monster. I should have left long before that because every single day before I went to work I would gag and gag because I was so stressed about what would happen that day at work. She caused me untold anxiety and depression. Right now I'm on a long-term disability because I have had a number of terrible health issues in the last year. Going through these health issues has been an absolutely hell on Earth- but the upside is I don't have to deal with her anymore. I didn't leave the job, I couldn't leave the job because I was barely getting by as it was. I pray that your counselor and psychiatrist are able to give you the tools you need to cope, and I pray that you find a job that makes you happy and does not stress you mentally. God bless you!
