Struggling with Bipolar Disorder: How to Cope?

so I realized that I am really truly bipolar. and I dont know how to cope with it. I am fine when I am on my meds but when off them I am different person.

Got to figure if the negative outweigh the positive effects of taking your meds. If you feel that they change who you are you will adjust and get back to who you were. I thought the same thing when I first started taking psychotropic meds. I always felt kind of out of it and weird and never felt like myself, but after about 3 months everything started to balance out and I felt great.

They just have to play guinea pig and see what works best for you. I recommend getting one of those genetic tests that will tell you which medications will work best for different symptoms
