Struggling with Bipolar 2 and Lack of Motivation

I was recently diagnosed with bipolar 2 so we’re trying out lithium to see if it works. Negative ideations have decreased but motivation is still nonexistent. We’re switching out my antidepressant for a new one so I’m hoping that will work out. For the past year I have been unable to get myself to do anything productive for myself, meaning that I’m behind in school and unable to fully pay rent. I am lucky to be in a position where my family can help but they are getting tired of this and so am I. Does anyone have any encouraging words I can repeat to myself besides “Just do it”?

just do it makes me feel like i’m being weak or lazy, when in reality it’s just so hard to do things. i like to tell myself it’s better to do a little bit of something than a lot of nothing. this can mean washing a few dishes at a time, brushing my teeth for a minute instead of not at all, and picking out comfy clothes to sleep in instead of my day clothes
