Struggling with Asthma: Need Help!

Hey recently my Asthma seems to have gotten worse, it's to the point I can barely walk or even stand without having a hard time breathing. Any suggestions?

Do you also have allergies or eczema? Severe asthma that doesnt seem to respond to treatment may be caused by elevated white blood cells called "eosinophils". Its what I have. I have had it since I was born but didn't get diagnosed till I was 21. My asthma was always bad, I could barely walk, and I felt I was getting worse. Ask your doctor to check your white blood cell levels with a blood test. Ask specifically for a "differential" to find the levels of the different KINDS of cells. Mine went undiagnosed because they checked the TOTAL and it looked normal. But the types were all out of whack

this is the type of Brittle Asthma I have too, I was diagnosed with it at 20. When they tested my levels they should be between 80-120 and mine were over 3,000 xx I'd recommend what this person has suggested as it does explain alot and changed your life xx

I'm having the same issue. I wake up gasping for air most mornings as well. It's like I've stopped breathing for a period of time.

Aw sorry to hear I would definitely go to the GP sounds like you might be close to an asthma attack. How often are you taking your emergency inhaler. 😥

I went through a period like that, I went to ER, had pneumonia. I wouldn’t mess around, seek some help. ER, urgent care etc
