Struggling with Asthma and Vaping Addiction

Hi, I’ve had Asthma since I was a child. I started Vaping when I was 15 and I am now 20, turning 21 soon. My Asthma has definitely worsened, and I can’t motivate myself to exercise. I am having a lot of trouble quitting Vaping. I get angry when I don’t consistently have nicotine. I’ve tried Nicotine gum, but for some reason I always want to go back to the vape. I want my Asthma to get better, but I can’t seem to get myself to take the steps to get better. I guess I’m wondering if there is anyone out there with the same issue, or has any advice. Thanks!

hi! i quit vaping a little while ago and if you have nic gum and still want to vape it’s probably an oral fixation thing so keeping your mouth occupied when you have cravings. i chewed gum lol but lollipops or really anything you feel comfortable doing so your mouth is doing something.

I think it is an oral fixation or something. Never thought of it that way. Thank you!

That vaping can kill you! Be kind to yourself . You have just one set of lungs.

hey! i would actually recommend possibly getting essential oil diffusers if you feel the urge to smoke. It’ll give the same act of smoking, without the nicotine & stuff like that. It has helped a lot of people wean off cigarettes & vapes. Also if you haven’t tried already, you could also use nicotine patches! :)
