Hi! I have been struggling with anxiety for as far back as I can remember, but it really intensified during college. It was following a break-up and also coming to terms with the fact my parents were and still are very controlling. I have been in counseling for years, I even work in the field ... but I still feel anxious daily. I walk about 3 miles a day and I meditate, sing, do yoga, draw, swim, play with my animals, read, and even enjoy reiki. But I am still a stressed out mess. I worry about the future all the time. Who can relate? What has helped you most? Thanks!

I have been anxious since childhood when I was about five or six. And I have grown up dealing with it and having to learn how to handle what’s going on. I have had the best results with just going to a different room for ten to twenty minutes and then come back when I’m calm. Another great thing for me is reading a book. You can go into another world when you read something and I love it!

Hi. I've also been anxious for many many years. I can absolutely relate. Everything seems to stress me out and I'm a chronic over thinker. I do all sorts of things to try to help but the things that seem to help the most for me are music/podcasts and just talking to someone a little more mentally stable than I am who has endless patience to talk through all my what ifs. Just getting it all off my chest is a little bit of a relief, even if it doesn't all go away. And it helps the people around me have a little more patience with me when they can hear my own thought process and kind of see what I'm dealing with.

I am basically the same exact way. I cannot never just stay in the present.

I suffer with that also. Sometimes I find focusing on something I can fix or solve something it tends to help. I will even do basic math, solve a puzzle or play a match 3 game.

I can definitely relate to that. Honestly something that helps is blasting music. I recommend Yungblud I personally connect to that on different levels. His music is awesome to blast and yell. Honestly any alt rock that you can actually connect to is awesome to scream
