So I’ve always struggled with medication for my anxiety. I’ve taken Zoloft and Prozac and lexapro as daily meds and none have worked. I always get the worst of the side effects and have to stop taking them. Any recommendations for good medications that have worked for you?

I also had trouble with Prozac and Lexapro. Prozac didn't really do much for me at all, and Lexapro worked for like a year, then they had to up my dose and it made me very apathetic to everything. Personally SSRI's (class of med) doesn't seem to work well for me. Now I'm on Cymbalta, an SNRI, so far it seems to be working much better.
If Lexapro is giving you trouble with sleep, as it gave me insomnia, try Citalopram. It is the precursor to Lexapro and is a bit more sedative than the Lexapro. It is what I currently take, and even though I still struggle with sleep, the anxiety attacks are down from what they used to be
ive been on fluoxetine for a good chunk of time and it helps a lot. ive been on 20 mg so ask your doctor about that
