I’m struggling a lot with my anorexia and have done for the past 6 years. I’ve been trying to recover during lockdown but honestly, I think it’s just been getting worse to the point I’m starting to wake up exhausted and weak. Whenever it’s nighttime I’d be so hungry to the point I can’t sleep. ☹️ Anyone got any advice on where to go for some sort of support or guidance? I can’t afford any therapy 😓

When I recovered a friend and I did it together, we'd encourage each other to eat, and it was really helpful. If you can't afford therapy I'd suggest finding a buddy who's recovered or in recovery to help support you. If do you need someone I'd be happy to help. Another thing that helped me was cooking, and choosing things I knew I'd eat, but having fun with it.

It’s a tough battle, but it’s one that you can fight. Tell yourself this is the year, and then take it in REALLY small steps. Start with the tiny things like eating a piece of fruit for breakfast or eating veg with dips like hummus instead of by themself. I’m hear if you ever need ANYTHING!! xx ❤️
