Struggling with Algebra 2 and College Planning

I’m a junior in high school right now which means I have to start thinking about college, which I plan on attending and work in the “animal science field” (idk which job yet) and the colleges I am looking to require at least a 3.5+ GPA. I had a decent GPA for the first 9 weeks but algebra 2 is really kicking me in the ass. I have a 77 and I don’t understand anything. Math in general is hard for me and I already have 2 other core classes. I feel so stupid and that everyone is smarter than me and I’m stressing about not making it into my dream colleges. Of course I have other schools I plan on applying to as a backup but everything is so stressful. I haven’t even taken the PSAT or SAT yet and I’m just struggling to do anything.

      hey friend, i graduated last year and i was in your same spot, major and all. i wanted to go into animal science and i got into my top 3 schools with just a 3.0 gpa, if you do well on the SAT they usually just let u in regardless of GPA. I promise you’re not stupid, i sucked at math all of high school and now i’m thriving in college, look for a tutor or someone to help with SAT prep classes, they helped me so much. you got this. have confidence in yourself even if it’s just a little <3

      If the semester isn’t over yet, you still have time! Look into finding a tutor at your school if they have one. For my school, they have options for us to come in earlier or to stay after school for extra help. Photomath is also a good option for seeing how to set the problems up. It works great for algebra.
