Struggling with Adderall Dosage - Looking for Advice

I was in the highest dosage of Adderall and it was having very little effect, so I’m working with my psychiatrist to come off of it. Has anyone else had this issue? What has worked for you instead?

Perhaps try a non-stimulant ADHD medication? or different types of stimulants

Adderall xr was somewhat effective but it made my heart race to a point it scared me but I feel like I tried everything for adhd but the last one my doctor prescribe has been the best one so far for me it's called mydayis

I like Ritalin better too! But honestly at some point they all start making me cranky which is counterproductive for me. I wish there was something else besides stimulants, I'm very sensitive to them

Vyvanse worked for awhile, but I had some issues with it effecting other meds. I would definitely recommend talking to your Dr about trying it

I have not had this issue yet, but what works for some people doesn't work for others. Have you ever tried Vyvanse or Ritalin?

I was on Ritalin when I was younger. Haven’t heard of the other one, but I’ll talk to my psychiatrist about it. Thanks.
