My dx of psoriatic arthritis was confirmed with labs. This is a hard pill to swallow. I’m only 34. I have a 3 year old. In December I could dance and run with her. Now I can’t even stand long enough to cook.

I’m depressed. I’m feeling alone in all of this.

I am right there with you except I am only 28. I once saw a pain management therapist. You could even see a regular therapist

I get it, and I'm only 21. It's hard to deal with.

I’m sorry you are going through that. That can be hard and difficult to swallow. Lots of unknowns at first. I was in a wheelchair and walker for a summer when I was first diagnosed. Had a 4 year old and 1 year old. I know that can be hard. It can get better though. Finding the right medicine helped for me. I still get flareups but it’s more manageable now. They are 13 and 10 now and still keeping up with them the best I can, kids have big very understanding hearts thank goodness. I hope you are able to find a treatment that works well for you.

What do you mean your psoriatic arthritis was confirmed by labs? I was under the impression there was no specific test for it, and it was meeting a series of conditions rather than lab results. I am interested in getting those tests done, can you tell me what tests you had done that confirmed it?

My diagnosis came from the conditions I had previous and at the time along with lab tests checking my C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (sed rate).
