one of my rabbits had a huge litter of kits over the weekend (12). she pushed 2 out of the nest immediately - one died before i found it & the other was alive. i was feeding that one by syringe but she took it back at 4 days old. because it is a lot smaller than the others it hasn't really been getting fed, so im taking it back until it's big enough to be on its own. anyways, my dad suggested we put it out in the woods and "let nature take its course" because he's worried ill fall into a Real depression if i can't manage to recover the baby's health. which, dad's right, but also the little guy is still trying; up and moving around, nosing my hand, a little bit of digging, all while being crazy undernourished. im gonna try until he stops trying or his QoL declines too far for me to justifiably try to keep him alive. so, thoughts and prayers please if that's your thing. witches, maybe send me some good luck vibes? :) hope u all have a good day
