Struggling to Quit Smoking: Seeking Advice

I am currently 24 and I have been a cigarette smoker since age 11. I smoke about 8 cigarettes a day and almost always feel guilty about it. Smoking causes me to feel like I am going to get cancer and die young from it, but I am still not able to bring myself to quit. Anyone else relate to this and have any advice? I want to quit for my health but only know myself as a smoker.

I dont smoke cigarettes. But I can tell you that cancer is worse than a struggle of addiction. You can always beat addiction with help and coping. You can't always beat cancer, their is a lot of pain with cancer as well

You're not alone... First thing you need to do if you want to quit is tell someone you trust and will support you... Then just start slow... Get nicotine replacement solutions (gum, patches)... I'm doing it cold turkey and I feel like crap...
