so, I am new here. I lost my mom a year ago. I just can't seem to move on with my life. she is about the only thing I like to about I still have little break downs. I even took some of her ashes and put them in a knock out rose I recently planted. nothing seems to help. I am open any suggestion and thanks in advance.

I found doing thing that I liked about them, like I liked the way my dad made grilled cheese or oatmeal. Or having conversation with myself like they are still there helps on hard days. 😥💕🤗

I'm sorry for your loss, the loss of a parent is unbearable and I understand it my mother passed away in a car accident when I was 6 years old and my dad died from dementia 2 years ago. He was my rock my best friend and the only person in the world I knew I could depend on no strings attached. I too I found that hard to move on after he passed

First off I want to say I'm sorry about your mom. I know what it's like to lose someone close I lost my little sister 7 years ago and my son almost 3 years ago. I still have small breakdowns about both of them and miss them a lot. I think something that helps me is knowing that grief isn't linear it comes and goes and time helps. I stopped looking at it like it was something to get over and move on with my life and started looking at it differently. You can't move on from someone that's gone because those memories will always be there but share your pain with others once I stopped holding my grief in and started sharing my memories with friends and family I realized I wasn't alone in missing them and it helped a lot. If you want someone to talk to you can always message me
